Dinuba, California Traffic School: Court Steps and Local Safety

3 easy steps
- Complete the online course
- Get your certificate
If your traffic citation is assigned to the Superior Court of California, County of Tulare, check your notice and the court’s traffic-school requirements before enrolling. The court lists a Dinuba Division at 640 South Alta Avenue and publishes local traffic-payment hours, eligibility rules, and a certificate-status service. GoToTrafficSchool.com offers a self-paced California online traffic school course, but its acceptance for your particular citation and eligibility must be confirmed with the court before you enroll. Dinuba is an incorporated city in Tulare County. A city’s location or your home address does not by itself establish which court handles a citation: use the court named on the citation or later notice.
If Your Citation Is Assigned to Tulare Superior Court
The court’s traffic division says traffic school may be available for certain violations. Its published conditions include holding a valid noncommercial license when cited, driving a noncommercial vehicle, and not having attended traffic school for a citation issued within the preceding 18 months. Other exclusions apply, including certain serious violations, alcohol- or drug-related cases, and specified speeding violations. Review the full court eligibility rules and ask the court about your case before enrolling.
If the court permits traffic school, follow its instructions for requesting it and note the separate course-completion deadline on your notice or in your official account. Completing a course does not itself respond to your citation or extend a deadline. The court says a timely completion must be received for the conviction to receive confidential treatment; otherwise, the conviction may be reported to the DMV.
Traffic school does not erase a citation. For eligible cases, confidential treatment can keep the point from appearing on the driving record in the way described by California court guidance. It is not a guarantee that every citation qualifies, that every course is accepted, or that an insurer will reduce a premium.

- Official court online services — case search, citation payment or extension access, hearing-date requests, and traffic-school completion status.
The court also states that traffic payments may be made during regular business hours at its Visalia location. Check the court’s official location and online-service pages for current instructions. An online case search is distinct from making a payment. If your citation is not yet listed, follow the due date on your citation or notice and contact the court; a missing online record does not cancel a deadline.
Dinuba Police Department information is separate from court case services. The department’s public page says citations or other items may be paid at the Police Department during regular business hours. That does not make the department the office that decides Superior Court traffic-school eligibility. For a parking citation, the Tulare court says to contact the city or agency that issued it.

Questions Dinuba Drivers Ask
Does a ticket issued in Dinuba automatically go to the Dinuba Division?
No. The citation or later official notice identifies the court handling your case. Confirm the assigned court before using a court’s payment, traffic-school, or hearing procedures.
Can I take GoToTrafficSchool.com for a Tulare County ticket?
The company offers an online California traffic-school course and its court directory lists Dinuba. That directory listing is not independent proof of acceptance for your individual case. Ask the court whether you are eligible and whether it accepts the specific course before enrolling.
What are the Dinuba Division’s traffic-payment hours?
The court lists traffic payments at the Dinuba Division on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The building has separate posted hours and is closed Tuesdays and Fridays. Check the court’s official location page before traveling.
How do I check whether the court received my course completion?
Use the court’s Traffic School Completion Status service. Do not assume a course provider’s completion report also confirms receipt by your court or an insurer.
Does traffic school remove the ticket?
No. For a qualifying case, court-approved completion may result in confidential treatment of the conviction. It does not erase the citation, and eligibility and timely completion requirements apply.
Does completing traffic school guarantee an insurance discount?
No. California traffic-school point masking is not the same as a guaranteed insurance discount. Ask your insurer about your policy and any proof it requires.
Where do I pay a Dinuba parking citation?
The Tulare Superior Court states that parking citations are handled by the issuing city or agency, not the Superior Court. Contact the agency identified on your parking notice.
