Virginia Online Traffic School Defensive Driving

Details: The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has APPROVED our online course for students 20 years of age or older.

Final Exam: After you complete our course, you must take and pass the final exam with a score of 80%. You may re-take the final exam as many times as necessary; however, you must wait at least 24-hours between re-takes. Virginia requires that students' final exams be proctored. This means that you will need to take the final exam through our website on a computer at a public facility with internet access, such as your local UPS store. These stores charge a per-minute fee for internet access. The final exam generally takes between 10-30 minutes to complete and will cost you approximately $5 in internet usage fees. If you fail the exam, you must wait 24-hours before you re-take it. You are responsible for paying internet usage fees on all re-takes. We will provide you with a list of testing locations to choose from when you are ready to take the final exam. Please call us at 1-888-329-7069 if you need help finding a testing site near you. When you arrive at the proctor site, you will tell an employee that you are there for the GoToTrafficSchool.com final exam. The employee should verify your identity by checking your photo ID, and then give you an access code. You will then log on to the course as usual and click on "exam" in the syllabus. When the next screen comes up, choose the proctor location you are at from the scroll down menu, and enter the access code you were given. This will allow you to begin the exam.

Certificate Delivery: Upon completion of your course, we will automatically send a completion report to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. We will also send you a copy of your certificate of completion. It is your responsibility to submit this certificate to your court. If you are under 20 years of age, the Virginia DMV will NOT accept your completion.

Eligibility: You are eligible to take the Driver Improvement Clinic if you have been ordered by a court or by the DMV to take a Driver Improvement Clinic, to earn safe driving points, or to earn an insurance discount. If you are 19 or younger, you cannot register for a DMV referred or Safe Driving Points course, but you can still take the Insurance Discount course and you can take the Court Referred course if you have your court’s permission. Holders of commercial drivers licenses may not take this course. Some insurance companies provide their motorists with discounts upon successful completion of a traffic school course. For an extra $5 we will send you another certificate of completion to send to your insurance company for a 10% discount.

Can I get a refund for the Virginia online defensive driving traffic school course?
