Do I have to take the course all at once?
No. You may start and stop the online Alaska defensive driving course as often as needed. Our system will pick-up exactly where you left off when you log back in!
What payment methods do you accept and is your website secure?
You can pay by credit card, check or online check, or select "pay later" and submit payment at any point prior to taking the final exam. All student information is processed using SSL-encryption technology. All credit card and online check information is processed via our secure payment processing company, Authorize.net.
How do the quizzes work?
There will be a short multiple choice quiz that follows each chapter of the Alaska online defensive driving course. These quizzes are meant to prepare you for the final exam and will not count against your overall score.
How do I get my certificate of completion?
If you are taking the "Court Referred" course, we will submit the original certificate directly to you. It is your responsibility to submit it to your court. You select the shipping method for your certificate when you register. If you are unable to complete the course at least 10 days before your due date, then you should choose one of our expedited shipping methods. If you are taking the "Point Reduction" course, we will send a completion roster directly to the Alaska DMV.
How do I take the final exam?
After you complete our course, you must take and pass the online traffic school final exam and score an 80% or better. The Department of Motor Vehicle requires that students’ final exam be proctored. This means that you will need to take the final exam through our website on a computer at one of our testing locations. Please call us at 1-888-329-7069 if you can’t find a location near you, and we will help you arrange an alternate testing site.
