Delivery Methods

Here at GoToTrafficSchool.com, we generate and send the certificates of completion out every hour on the hour, Monday thru Friday from 6AM until 4PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), and on Saturday from 9AM until 12PM.

We will send your certificate of completion either to you or to the court that is presiding over your ticket. Where we send your certificate depends on the requirements of your court. To check your court's requirements, click the "Register" button at the top left of the website. Select your state, county and court, and read the section marked "Certificate Delivery".

Traffic School Certificate - Delivered by USPS U.S. Regular Mail
With U.S. Regular Mail please allow three to five business days for delivery of your certificate.

Traffic School Certificate - Delivered by USPS U.S. Certified Mail
With certified mail you can be sure your certificate arrives at its destination by tracking its delivery online at https://www.usps.com/. You simply just input your certified tracking number and you can obtain a detailed report of your certificates delivery. As an additional security feature, the recipient’s signature is obtained at the time of delivery and a record is maintained by the Post Office.

Traffic School Certificate - Delivered by FedEx Third Day Express Delivery
With Third Day Express Delivery, your certificate will be sent through FedEx and will be delivered by 5:00pm on the Third business day from when it was sent. The daily cut off time for this delivery option is 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Unless you are taking our Florida BDI course, in Florida the daily deadline for Third Day Express Delivery is 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time. If you complete your course after the daily cut off time your certificate will be shipped the following business day.

*Please note that FedEx will not deliver to a post office box (P.O. Box). Therefore when selecting this delivery option be sure to give a physical address such as 123 Main Street and not a P.O. Box.

Traffic School Certificate - Delivered by FedEx Second Day Express Delivery
With Second Day Express Delivery, your certificate will be sent through FedEx and will be delivered by 5:00pm on the Second business day from when it was sent. The daily cut off time for this delivery option is 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Unless you are taking our Florida BDI course, in Florida the daily deadline for Second Day Express Delivery is 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time. If you complete your course after the daily cut off time your certificate will be shipped the following business day.

How much money do I need to cough up when I take GoToTrafficSchool.com's online driver improvement course?
The prices of GoToTrafficSchool.com's internet ticket dismissal courses fluctuate depending on which state you live in.  However, rest assured that GoToTrafficSchool.com offers online driver improvement courses at the lowest prices in our industry.  If a competitor offers you an even lower price, just let us know and we will beat their price.
How are GoToTrafficSchool.com's online ticket dismissal classes set up?
GoToTrafficSchool.com offers two (2) basic types of defensive driving classes:  one is for ticket dismissal and the other is for insurance reduction.

Our online auto insurance reduction courses may be taken on any computer with online access.  You have the choice of stopping to take a break whenever you want to, and you can choose how many breaks you want to take.  Your completed work is saved, so you can just pick up right from where you left off!  GoToTrafficSchool.com's internet ticket dismissalclasses are divided into chapters, and each chapter ends with a brief quiz (all multiple-choice questions).  Although the quizzes have no bearing on your overall score for the class, they will greatly help you prepare for the final exam you will need to pass at the end of the class.

Once you pass your internet course's final exam, you will be awarded a certificate of completion.   The certificate will be mailed according to the shipping method you selected at registration(either by regular mail for no extra charge, or be FedEx Delivery which carries an additional fee).


What happens if something comes up in the middle of my taking GoToTrafficSchool.com's online defensive driving or driver improvement or ticket dismissal or insurance reduction online class and I have to stop? Would I have to start all over again later?
No worries.  We understand it is often impossible for someone to take our entire defensive driving or ticket dismissal or driver improvement class online all in one fell swoop.  That’s why with GoToTrafficSchool.com, your completed work is automatically saved.  Therefore, you may stop whenever you want to and come back and pick up from where you left off--it could even be days later!
Are GoToTrafficSchool.com's auto insurance reduction classes accredited nationwide?
GoToTrafficSchool.com's internet ticket dismissal programs are approved in numerous courts across the country for dismissing tickets.  To see if it is approved in your court, you may go to our website, click on 'register', and then select the state and county for which you need to take a traffic school class.  GoToTrafficSchool.com will provide information regarding approval and other important points relating to the GoToTrafficSchool.com internet course that you wish to take.  If you still are not sure whether GoToTrafficSchool.com will suffice in getting your ticket dismissed, we recommend you contact the local traffic court handling your case to see if GoToTrafficSchool.com is accepted for ticket dismissal in your particular jurisdiction.
I've heard that courts sometimes will not erase traffic tickets, even if the person successfully completes a ticket dismissal course. How do I know that my ticket will be thrown out if I sign up with GoToTrafficSchool.com ?

First of all, there are some traffic offenses that are not eligible for dismissal because they’re simply too serious to be “forgiven”.  A court could very well decide that speed racing on a public road, or severely injuring a child because you drove drunk through a school zone should remain a part of your permanent driving record. 

Even for less serious infractions, most states and jurisdictions limit the number of traffic tickets you can have dismissed over a certain period of time.  For example, you may only be allowed to have one (1) ticket dismissed once every two (2) years or so by taking an approved online ticket dismissal course.

If you click "Register Now", and then select the state where you were issued your ticket, GoToTrafficSchool.com will provide you detailed information on course approval and dismissal eligibility for the particular driver improvement internet class you want to take.  However, if you are still uncertain as to whether your ticket can be removed from your driving record by taking GoToTrafficSchool.com's online defensive driving class, you should check with the local court that's handling your case and find out.

Would taking GoToTrafficSchool.com’s internet defensive driving class suffice for getting my ticket dismissed?
Possibly.  You will need to contact your local traffic court which is handling your case whether or not GoToTrafficSchool.com's program is approved in your state for auto insurance reduction.  If so, you may take your defensive driving course through GoToTrafficSchool.com from any computer which has internet access instead of spending half your weekend taking defensive driving in some classroom.
Can I have multiple traffic tickets dismissed by taking the online ticket dismissal course that GoToTrafficSchool.com offers online?
No.  Ticket dismissals are a gracious offer by jurisdictions to allow otherwise safe drivers to maintain clean driving records even after making an error in judgement.  They are not to be used as an escape for consistently unsafe driving practices.

Therefore, in 99.9% of cases, traffic courts will only allow one (1) traffic citation to be removed from your driving record by successfully completing GoToTrafficSchool.com's online driver improvement class.  Also, most courts will only allow you to have a ticket dismissed from your driving record only once every 12-18 months (or even longer in some states).

It all depends on what your local court's rules are.  Many traffic courts don't even require you to verify your identity, but if your court does, GoToTrafficSchool.com will let you know at the time your register to take our internet defensive driving course.  If your identity does need to be verified, your court may order that a limited credit check be run on you.
Does GoToTrafficSchool.com only offer its driver improvement classes online, or are they also offered in different formats?
GoToTrafficSchool.com's defensive driving classes are offered not only over the internet, but also on DVD, or workbook, or by streaming video.

How much time will GoToTrafficSchool.com give me to complete the entire internet defensive driving course before I get kicked out or the class expires?
Plenty.  Most of GoToTrafficSchool.com's online traffic school courses don't expire until 180 days after you register to take one.  You probably should be concerned more about meeting the court-imposed deadline than ours!  In any case, GoToTrafficSchool.com will send you a reminder e-mail if your internet course has been inactive for an extended period of time so you'll have the opportunity to finish before your class expires.
